Create the personality of a World Agricultural Heritage ecosystem
Summary
We developed an audiovisual production to present the “Historic Irrigation System of the Huerta de València” as a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System (GIAHS) to the public. This recognition, granted by the FAO, celebrated the significance of the irrigation system in the region’s local culture.
The video, narrated in the first person, conveyed a message of gratitude to all the people and institutions that supported the nomination. The personal and emotional approach aimed to connect with the audience and highlight the importance of the historic irrigation system in shaping local identity.
Result
The audiovisual production effectively conveyed the community’s pride and gratitude for the GIAHS recognition. The video not only celebrated the achievement but also strengthened the connection between citizens and the agricultural heritage, raising awareness and appreciation for the Huerta de València.
